I am a professed member of the Michaeline Order, an association of Christian clergy and laity following an esoteric path-- indeed, as Her Reverence the Abbess keeps telling people, it's all my fault. In any case, here is the Michaeline Home Page.

One place where you are likely to find lots of Michaelines is the Ecumenicon Interfaith Conference, which gathers practitioners and inquirers for ALL varieties of alternative spirituality on a sort of common ground which is not available elsewhere. The next conference is scheduled for March 26-29, 2009 in Potomac, Maryland. .

We are also likely to turn up at the Friends of Darkover Grand Council, where it all began.

Theologically and formally, I adhere to the New Church -- more formally Church of the New Jerusalem-- commonly "Swedenborgian". Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Bill of 1995: N Y Times coverage reported that there was legislation "to criminalize an entire class of abortions....a highly specialized procedure used in a few case..." but carefully avoided saying anything about what the "procedure" was, even by giving the title of the bill. Here is what they did not want you to read.
